Braxton's quickie for the day...
Trivia question: What's the average volume of semen expelled during a typical ejaculation?
Answer: Three to five cubic centimeters (about a teaspoon). Factors that impact volume:
- Time since last ejaculation. If it's been a few days since sex, volume tends to be higher. On the other hand, after multiple ejaculations in the same day, don't be surprised if there's a dry orgasm!
- Age: Youthful rockets of semen are transformed to just a few drops in the senior years.
- Physical health: There are medical conditions (diabetes comes to mind) that are associated with retrograde ejaculation. Translation: dry orgasm.
Contrary to what many believe, semen is ejaculated from the prostate...not the testicles!
