I’m making today my unofficial Kegel Awareness Day.
Your pelvic floor is the musculature which supports the pelvic organs. It is comprised of three muscles which are collectively known as the levator ani to the doctors, and better known as the Kegel muscles to the rest of us.
Poor Kegel muscle tone can lead to urinary and fecal incontinence, organ prolapse, vaginal prolapse, aggravation of prostate problems, and sexual atrophy.
Good Kegel muscle tone, among other things, improves orgasms, tightens the vaginal walls, improves erection quality, makes ejaculations stronger, and can improve premature ejaculation.
Considering the benefits and the avoided problems, investing a little time in daily Kegel exercises will pay handsome returns.
