Braxton's quickie for the day...
Good stimming hinges on small details. For this reason, a beginner will ultimately be rewarded with great results if they adopt an attitude of patience along with an appreciation for these small details.
Take the case of what can happen if you stim while sitting down. Sitting is a very popular stimming posture, but occasionally, a mystery will arise with the way it feels. It can feel dull or somehow not up to its usual potential, especially if you are using an “off location”. (This would be a great opportunity to use our Search Page if you are unfamiliar with that term.)
Sitting can sometimes alter the current paths of your stim, which in turn alters the feel. The solution? First, turn the intensity to zero. Next, try standing for a moment and then “reseating” yourself. Sometimes this brings a dramatic improvement to a formerly dull stim.
