Email question: Where EXACTLY should the pad go for the sacral nerve?
Use a large e-stim pad. The long side should have a vertical bias. It will be fine for the pad to adjoin the spine, but avoid placing the pad on top of the spine. Start the bottom of the pad down about an inch from the top of the butt crack. To clarify, the pad should run parallel to the butt crack for about an inch. Thanks to the vertical orientation of the pad, there’s a large margin of error for covering the sacral nerve.
When I read this question, I couldn’t help but feel chagrin at the fact that my previous references to the sacral nerve left too much room for ambiguity. I sincerely thank my email correspondent for bringing this to my attention.
