Power box and lead wires
Our power box accommodates two lead wires. Each lead wire has a power box connector (top right in the picture) and two pins which connect to electrodes
A lead wire
(bottom right in picture). Four connections are the maximum that a power box will support, unless you add splitters.
A splitter will convert one of the pins into two. Therefore, four splitters will increase the maximum connections for your power box from four to eight.
A monopolar electrode requires just one connection. Here's a breakdown of the "polars":
monopolar = 1 connection
bipolar = 2 connections
tripolar = 3 connections
quadpolar = 4 connections
CurrentClips: Monopolar (each clip requires one connection)
CurrentLoop: Monopolar (each loop requires one connection)
E-Stim Pad: Monopolar
Were you aware of the fact that you are not always required to use all of the connections?
Female example: A popular combination is a CurrentCup on the clitoris, combined with just one connector on the CurrentVagMini. This combination will usurp one lead wire (two connections), yet provide a wonderful current path from the clitoris down into the vagina.
Male example: For a delightful end-to-end stim of the male reproductive system, combine one connector of a prostate electrode with a CurrentLoop behind the penis head. This consumes one lead wire (two connections).
